A quick question concerning barrel threads.
20 July, 2012, 23:02
OK, here's the situation, I got myself an M4 the other day, and I'm looking at changing a few external parts, and getting specific accessories to give it the look that I'm ultimately after, starting with the flash hider.
Assuming I'm looking at the gun head on with the barrel pointing at me (not recommended, for obvious reasons), and I remove the current flash hider, turning it in an anti-clockwise fashion, what type of thread is it? Clockwise or anti-clockwise?
It's a bit tricky knowing what the answer is when there's loads of different names for the threads :-(

Re: A quick question concerning barrel threads.
It's a clockwise or positive thread.

Re: A quick question concerning barrel threads.
Thanks mate, now I can definitely get the flash hider I've been looking at, with confidence :-)
