project:underslung shotgun, need ideas..

been fascinated with the idea of an underslung shotgun for a while now, and playing MW2 has catalysed this

now i plan on using an ACM gas 8mm shotgun as its full metal (needs to be metal as il need to drill and tap it to fit the gun), sturdy, and doesnt need any form of stock (as in it will work with no stock on just, the reciever and pump)

now, i want to mount it on something suitably long, but here in lies my problem...

it needs to be metal (plastic just wont stand up to the rigors of pumping the shotgun)

it needs to be long enough that the shotgun doesnt look out of place

RIS is a plus, but not necessarily needed

relatively cheap (250ish and under)

above all it needs to be sturdy as hell (which i reckon rules out ANY m16/m4s as i just think the barrel/reciever delta ring wont stand up to heavy duty use on the pump action) except possibly something like a 416??

what gun do you guys think would make a good frame?

something like a full ris g&P m16 should be fine

real m4/16 are fitted with masterkey shotguns and withstand the pump just fine - if your using a gas shotgun they hardly have to be pumped so shouldnt cause so much stress on the delta rings

but will use the proper maruzen m870 and G&P masterkey conversion kit

yeah just looked at the masterkey kit....

190 quid!!!!!!! yeah right....

what do we reckon for the base gun?

while gas shotguns dont need that much effort to pump, i treat my stuff like real guns, and it gets pretty aggressive use...

i wouldnt want to be worrying about the delta ring as im racking the pump back hard

indeed they are, but theres a significant difference in both strength and qaulity of real and airsoft parts.....

I reckon a sawed off gas M500 or TM benelli mounted with a cut down M4 carry handle or modified M900 torch mount

Yup, sadly Im not sure I can find a shotgun short enough for mine otherwise Id try it :p

When I was fixing my TM Super 90, I had the stock off and duck taped it to my G36c for a day for a makeshift master key. Was great gun but stupidly long on the G36c, but for an M4 it Would look and work the doggies.

Im gonna get a springer and mount it on my m4, i loved that as soon as is saw it , however am thinking to mount it a lot furthur foward so i can keep the back grip
