Is it a photographic illusion, or is the m870's barrel angled downwards from the M4 a bit? hah. Either that or my eyes are smegged..

It does a little yes but its how they are

It was a really simple conversion - removed the grip, cut the lump off the back and plasticard then to mount it I took the ris off the shotgun and after lining it all up drilled two holes into which I put two short machine screws and then bolted it through the holes on the ris of the gun before putting the ris back on the shotgun
however you can now buy a CAW ris to ris mount so you don't need to do all that messing around with screws

One important thing to take into account - you must use a solid one piece ris as if you use the two piece that splits you will find it comes apart when trying to cock it
