eglm on m4

saw a pick of one on a m4 but wanted to see if anyone has done this first hand and if any mods are involved

compare the mag well of scar and m4
scar is more slopy, hard for m4 to fit

if the ris is less then 18 cm from the magwell it can fit.

M4 magwells slope too. Thats a HK416 one of the main distinguising features between that and an M4 (apart from the taller upper receiver) is that the magwell on the HK is flat. It will fit on no probs as the SCAR lower receiver is just an ambidextrous newer fancier version of a M4 lower receiver.

YES you are right, just spot that....I never know mine is a HK416....ha thank you 囧

I fitted an EGLM to my HK416, required 2 points of modification, the rail overlaps at the front (cut about 30mm to allow for the rail) and the mag well (shaved and cut to allow the 416 enlarged mag well) is a slightly different angle and too wide for the EGLM. The finished piece is quite a thing to behold
