hi was wondering what parts would be reccomended to turn a dboys/or tm m4 into the above.
i know i need an old style stock, new pistol grip and a custom outer barrell but would like to know what parts people would reccomend,
also if anyone else has done one of these could they pm me tips on how to do it please
p.s the body will have the trades engraed proffessionally as i cba paying the asking price for the guarder c8 body

newbody, new barrel, grip, stock, carry handle, front sight flash hider

I built one so here is what I know.

You can get a custom 16" barrel made which screws onto the 10" these cost about £30ish plus the price of the cqb barrel

Front sight, needs to be filled in army code make one but they ask about £50 a pop, i used miliput. If you decide to go for the 10" the bayonet lug needs to be removed.

Large grip, guarder stowaway is the one to use. (see ehobby asia)

Body, dragon red airsoft sell them, or you could engrave an un marked one.

RIS dboys one works if you use a ca cqb barrel with the 16" concersion

flash hider standard tm one with out the qd fitting.

Sight need to be an NSN acog (the one with the BIUS) although eotech's have been seen.

Stock, standard TM's work.

guarder stock pad

Batterywise, battery sling, peq2's, or a lipo in the stock

If your really fussy only use the sa80 style mags.

I think that covers it.

thanks for the replies guys, ak could you pm me the details of where to get some of the parts, also how did you mod the foresight and where can i find accurate images of the trades to engrave on the blank body, also would i be able to get away with using a mini batt in the foregrip and just attaching ufir rails to the grip?, your input has and will be a great help with my l119a1 conversion
