TM M4 with EG1000 replacement and £160...would it be easy enough to make a reasonable DMR?

sell the tm m4 and with the cash try and buy a non-acm spr (ras) or sam-r ( the type with the m5 ras )

if there is any change upgrade your gb

If you do mechanically lock it to single shot (i.e. lock the selector switch to semi only) the gearbox will jam at some stage so make sure you have a way to put it into full auto should a jam occur...

...or electronically lock it using a programmeable MOSFET but that will blow your budget they cost about £60-£70 but are definately worth it my book due to the valuable features they also provide such as active breaking, current/voltage monitoring and at the end of the day you can also program them to do very cool things like 3 shot burst!
