  • Project Pulse rifle tri shotgun + help

    Hi Guys

Ive been working on a pulse rifle in my spare time making it more solid and fitting a tri shotgun in launcher even though people said it could not be done . ( never say never )

One question does anyone know of a paint that goes on think is none slip and kinda rubber texture .
as i want to ruberize the pump handle so its none slip.

Here are some pics of it in bits.

So Far filled shell with metal struts and resin to make it solid
    gutted kit version launcher carrier
sprayed chrome underneath the olive green you can see, so when it wears it will show metal colour through.

Ye 203 would be nice but its at its limits with the tri shotgun. the poor shotgun has been stripped so much anymore and i think it will blow up lol

will post more pics when done

Re: Project Pulse rifle tri shotgun + help

            Im getting there slowly .

just a matter of putting back together trim and few parts then paint / tidy up.

Ignore the untidy gun its had alot of cutting / grinding done to it.
the trigger ive added sits well on lower fingers . i added it so the shotgun can be used for CQB quckly when needed so its more hrlpful,
its been lowered to about 280-300 fps with bb's spreading outwards. more pics to come.

Oh forgot to say its damn heavy now its been made more solid , im gunna have massive muscles lol

Looks like a cracking build so far. Good to see you've opted for the 'real world' colour; OD, as opposed to the hideous 'Brown Bess' used on set.

                    Thanks

As you can see by pic its all together beside some bits and bobs, I just need to remask it all and finish the camo then repaint all the black and coat with ultra matt clear.( and cover all the screws etc.
Just want to see what camo looks like if i dont like the end result ill respray back to a olive drab.

The shotgun works well you can hold the trigger i made down and just keep pumping.
I placed a 3/4 inch carved sorbo pad on stock end as the bare metal make you a bit sore.
only down side is i think i made it a bit heavy so ill call it a mans guns at just over 4 kilo's

Its not a 1/1 copy of the films pulse rifle as i wanted to make it work well in games.
When i post the video you can make your mind up on that

Looks brilliant mate, Kudos to you for investing alot of time and effort into a quality build!

As for the camo, I personally would keep it OD... But at the end of the day its your aeg and if you like it then that's all that really matters!

                      Looking forward to the video!

Really wanting to do a similar thing with the tri-shot shotty internals, but putting them inside an m4 masterkey housing. Any tips/idea on good shotguns to start with, and techniques for stripping and effectively using the internals? I'm hoping it'll just be a case of getting an m870, fitting a shorter barrel, and finding somewhere to house the gas cylinder, but I doubt that will be a simple task! :D
