TM FN HAMR ideas
6 February, 2013, 15:12
Hi folks, I was considering making a TM SCAR-H into an FN HAMR (support variation of the SCAR).
Most of the parts are easy, just the long barrel and bipod.
However, what I'm wondering about is the drum magazine. I think I'd be able to do it with a SCAR-L as that uses the STANAG mags, so it should accept most drum mags of that type. However, it's the SCAR-H I want to do it with.
Does anyone know if there is a good, reliable drum magazine that would fit the TM SCAR-H recoil shock? If so, please PM me or let me know any alternative ideas you might have.

Re: TM FN HAMR ideas
you could try a laylax box mag, the square design would look good, they usually take a hi-cap m4 mag for the feed, i once butchered a star sopmod m14 lo-cap to fit a box mag, worked a treat.

The HAMR fires 5.56 though doesn't it? And is more of an IAR than a support gun as such. Either way, good luck with the build!
