Removing pinion gear off motor

Looking for some help need to replace the pinion gear off 3 motors so looking to get advice how to do it I know there a puller to do it but not paying that price for 3 little jobs also what size of Alan key I need for the grub screw

If the pinion has a grub screw you wont need to pull it off try a set of standard alan keys you should be fine best way to change pinion is to take it to a shop
