Painting the GARS / MP5SD6 RAS

I'm looking at painting the GARS (anodized aluminum, afaik)black, as it's more of a grey at the moment.

If i key it, prime it, and spray it with black krylon, should it be okay, or will the paint not stick to aluminium/anodized metal?

use an aluminium primer and it should be fine, no keying required

Better still use permanent paint, krylon is designed to be removable. Try Halfords Matt Black and use a Matt Varnish afterwards.

Don't use an aluminium primer, you'll be wasting your money, its not bare alli.

Just prime and paint with something like the halfords paint mentioned above. They do camo colours as well which are pretty good.
