Shortened magazine needed....
10 February, 2010, 19:23
I am in the need of a shortened magazine for a Cyma M14.
I want to use it for WW2 'softing but the standard mag is so obviously too long to look good as I intend to get it accepted as a G43.
Under the WW2 airsoft rules a certain amount of slack is allowed to people with ak47 used as an mp44 or full wood stock or gillie wrapped rifle as a smle/k98.
I know the M14 is accepted as either an M1 or a G43 but I just want a slightly more complete look.
So does anyone know how I can shorten a TM or Cyma mag or if there is a techie out there that can do such a thing?

Re: Shortened magazine needed....
If it the one I found also it is not really for me, it was all about having the bottom of the mag flush for a Garand look, my requirements are for a mag about half the length, so still some magazine visible.
So any ideas?

Maybe get some low midcaps, take out the inner rod, then chop down to size, glue using a glue or heat gun?
This is just a guess, follow at your own risk
