touble gtting a gearbox into a body...

hello all,

recently started a project gun... bought a GP gear box and a KWA M7A1 vltr body...

the gear box doesnt wanna fit into this, I pushed a little to hard and broke the selector plate on the way in... now I cant get the gear box out.... any ideas?!?!

Percussive maintenance (hitting the ba****d) as a last resort
Depending on how far out it is, you might be able to pry it between the underside of the gearbox and the body, accessed where the grip would cover.

got it out, justa slight pry with a screwdriver from below.....

prob is I have broken the selector plate when getting itin, so will have to re order and retry

KWA make an M7A1 body?

I know that KWA AEGs are very fussy in terms of part compatibility - they've tried to make them as close to RS dimensions as possible.

Im sure it was a KWA body.. maybe it was GP...

it had been modded to take most gear boxes....

I think it will go in fine, gonna give it to the local tech as ill get it rewired at the same time as the current wiring isnt great...

hopefulyy having a non brittle selector plate will help!!

I didn't know of kwa doing a vltor body but I'm pretty sure kwa only take there own gearbox as its abit different without mods

like I said it might of been GP body, im not really sure... it has also been modded
