kenwood tk3201 problems

seems my kenwood tk3201 has detuned itself
has anyone got any experience as to how you can go about resetting it to factory specs??

I have no idea but I would try to find the manual on google as it probably has a button behind the battery or something but the manual will tell you that more specifically.

I think you'd need to reprogram it, rather than reset. I think reset will clear all the frequencies, rather than set them back again.
What makes you think it has "detuned"?
The default channel settings, and manual reprogramming instructions, are shown from page 20 of the manual here:
