  • Removing two-tone green paint

I now have a license and would like to remove the zero-one green paint from my gun. I have tried using Mr Muscle oven cleaner on it over night but it didn't seem to do much. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Apparently Zero-one dont use rubbish 2 toner like some others... Maybe consider buying some spray paint and re spraying? You know you'll never truly get all the bright coloured paint off...

As far as I know zero one just spray the furniture? Should be simple enough to replace it!

I'd like to know what this "Licence" allows one to do?

          To kill, obviously...

Knew it wouldn't take long for someone to pick up on that :D I'm assuming he's referring to obtaining a defence.

RE: Original topic, just replace the furniture, or Fairy Power spray.

I was assuming he meant he now has a site membership or ukara? I'm still very unsure on the legalities on manufacturing a RIF however, so whether this defense covers this, I've no idea.

I used fairy power spray on the green paint that zero one two toned my SCAR with and it came off pretty easily, just took a bit of scrubbing with a soft brush.

Interesting that fair power spray has worked for your guys and Mr muscle hasn't worked for me, I thought they were almost the same

If he told you, he'd have to kill you BAMF, and we can't have that..
"This is my rifle, it's just a toy one, there are many like it, they're toy ones too, without it, i'm £250 better off, without me, it gathers dust in the corner, we're just big boys playing soldiers, lets try and remember that" play fair have fun.

Anyways back to topic. Has anybody else used fair power spray on 'newer' zero one two tone guns? What was the outcome?

I have, its a lot of effort.

Honestly, I'd get some paint prep wipes and a can of camo black paint from halfords. Much quicker, and you don't run the risk of damaging the gun.

The problem with spraying over the top is I will need a lot of layers to completely cover the green and it will be difficult to do because the RIS has been completely sprayed.

Is it that hard to buy paint thinner, wet&dry and a heat gun? Or are you all under 18 and not allowed to buy spirits in fear of you sniffing them?

It's paint for god sakes, hardly rocket science!
