M16 gearbox fitting problem
17 August, 2013, 17:04
Hi guys i have recently purchased an g&g m16 metal body to replace my ancient TM A2. (About 10 years old) The problem I am having is I can't get my gear box to sit into the new body correctly, I'm wondering if maybe the sizes and dimensions have changed slightly and that's what's causing the problem. Any help would be great guys thanks

Re: M16 gearbox fitting problem
I found that little things matter when putting the gear box in. Try putting screws and body pins in in different orders or putting them in lose and doing them all up after. I bet you have picked up on this before now but worth a go

Re: M16 gearbox fitting problem
I have given that a try, done everything I could think of, I have come to the conclusion that the dimensions have changed ever so slightly over the last 10 from when I bought the original gun
