    Removing D-ring on an M4

    Just picked up an old M4 as a project piece and I seem to be having issue removing the D-Ring. I have never seen on like this.

    The gun came with a MOE hand guard so I am not sure if there is a tool needed or just a technique. Any help would be appreciated.

    You'll need an armorer's wrench.

    Bit with all the teeth is the end to use.
