need urgent help on crane stocks

basically, I just got my new ics m4 with a crane stock. I'm not new to airsoft but I've never had a gun wired through the stock or with a crane stock before so I really don't understand how I put the battery in the gun

I've got a skirmish tomorrow and I really don't want to miss it as I haven't been in weeks- I don't know if it's the battery I'm using that's wrong? I'm using an 8.4v mini battery- do I need one of those crane stock batteries?

How do I connect it all up? I can't see any connectors, just tabs. The wires coming from the stock tube go to a little black box thingy right at the back on the outside. I'm completely confused....

Sorry for the noobish questions but I really don't wanna break this

yes you do need a crane stock battery.
or you could electrical tape it to the side of the crane stock which i have have to do in the past.lol
its looks okay.........

Where do I wire the bugger to though? My 8.4v mini battery does fit in the stock so I'm guessing I wont have to tape it to the side?

Where do I connect the battery to :p?

you may need a proprietary battery to fit inside the ICS crane stock, but I could be wrong. I've PM'd you a link that may be of help to you, but I know that all the crane stocks I've used have had to have crane-stock batteries for them.

I think you have to remove the crane stock, so you just have the stock tube. The wires should be in there..
