What is a trigger lock in a V2 Gearbox!?

Ok I might sound stupid, but I am buying a hpa that doesn't include a trigger lock, trigger or selector plate. But what is a trigger lock!?

Sounds like it might just mean a safety because the way this works is by locking the trigger into place so it cannot move and if it doesn't come with a trigger then this seems likely. In fact the selector plate is also part of the 'safety' system so again implies that it means the trigger.
