Laser help
18 August, 2015, 11:51
I have a PEQ AN/15 with a green laser in but it doesn't always work, normally you can turn it on and then if u hit the gun a couple of times it goes to full strength beam, but it will randomly disappear or just go really weak sometimes.
Is it possibly a dodgy connection somewhere?
Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? (also shooting sometimes makes it disappear, the movement of the gun or something I guess).
Thanks,

Re: Laser help
Sounds like it. Is it on a pressure pad?

Re: Laser help
Does the PEQ also have a torch, and is that also affected?

Re: Laser help
It does but I never really use it, when I have used it I haven't noticed the same problem though.

Re: Laser help
Well, if the torch isn't affected, it's most likely the wiring to the laser
If it is affected, then it's most likely the battery connection or wiring

Re: Laser help
they're pretty agricultural inside, if there's a problem with the wiring connections you'll be able to see it.
