Re: custom VSR
there are so many aftermarket parts out there that it is really up to your preference what parts you use for the look of the gun, as for the internals it all depends on your budget, start with the more important parts and then go as far as your budget will allow. Also the more you spend the better the parts, if you go pdi or laylax your getting quality, i would say spend more on the more important internals. A nice barrel, hop, put some high performance parts in the cylinder and then the trigger/teflon cylinder. that is what i would i would do.
cheers,
taylor.

Re: custom VSR
I couldn't quite tell if you realised this, but you can't just throw in a 500fps spring and expect results...
Have a look at this:
http://www.zeroin.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5069
That will tell you everything you need to know for upgrading it internally. If you have any questions after reading through that then feel free to post on the thread - it helps others as well.
As for the Fortress stock, from people I have spoken to, it has gotten some very bad reviews, and some batches have even been released with what would be an as standard crack down one side. Spend your money else where.
Hope that helps,
Alex (mj23lj)

+1, if you can get your hands on a Smokey's Stock System you would make many people very jealous.

Many sites tend to be lenient with snipers tipping over 500fps, as long as it was 525> then I'd say you'd be fine. As long as you are responsible with your min engagement distance, then you should be fine.
I will say this though, you will notice almost no improvement between 500 to 525, so if you can get 500fps, then go for that.
