Battery cell choice
10 June, 2010, 14:01
Afternoon,
Right, I have a bit of a question regarding batteries. I have been looking at getting a 9.6v nunchuck style battery to be placed inside a PEQ battery case thingy. However, after consulting a store of components I have found that a pack made up of 4/5A batteries
could
be just a tiny bit too wide. So, instead, I have been looking at a pack made up of AA batteries which would indeed fit.
Now, my question to you, what would be the disadvantages of using a pack made of AA batteries as against 4/5A?
For reference, both are rated at 2000mAh and 9.6v.
Many thanks!

Re: Battery cell choice
AA batteries aren't going to run your AEG, they simply can't supply enough current
