  • Support gunning

    Hi all,

As I tend to play the support role for our team a lot (read: only support gunner on our team) I'm not sure if I should be aiming for sustained fire and durability, or increased ROF?
I usually run a 249 but the weight is getting on my nerves, so I'm doing an MG36 conversion (I know, it never made it into real-steel full time production but I'm a sucker for a G36!).

What is your opinion on the support gunning role?
Also any specific parts I should be aiming for for reliability of things such as piston?

Your opinion on what I should do is most appreciated.

Tbh i cant see added ROF being much of a bonus, because as a support gunner your going to get through tons of bb's anyway and you will be using full auto a lot so it doesnt matter if the extra 5 bb's or so are going to someone, as im sure if you have 15 or so already going in 1 second a extra 5 bb's wouldn't change anything. 1 bb = kill.

I would make sure your batt life was good maybe have 2 rigged up so you can swap by flicking a switch say one in the stock one in the forgrip and a decent autowind mag
