vsr stocks :)

i was thinking of buying a cheap vsr/bar stock and trying to make it into a m40a3 stock. wat do you guys think?

and has anyone on here tryed it?

sounds good but i think to get the look you would need to add more to the stock than take it away. only way i can see you do that would be with layering loads of filler on and the sand and smooth?
i would like to know what this is like if you do it so let me know.
