  • G36 comparisions, the K and KV!

    hi there
currently have a g36c which is a 247mm barrel, great for cqb and tight spots but looking to get something slightly longer with a bit more range, im interested in another g36 variant. I have been looking at the new SRC rifles and see they do a G36K and G36KV, could anyone tell me what the inner barrel lengths these two rifles will take as they are both longer the then G36C and the KV looks like its longer then the G36K.
any assistance on lengths and other details that would assist with range decisions would be appreciated
    thanks

You know that extending the barrel isn't really going to give you anything much in tems of range?
Your best bet would be to look at improving your hop setup and installing a TB barrel for better consistancy

it does make some difference, i have a new hop and TB in my C, chronos the same as a buddys 36E with his hop and TB but his definately out ranges mine so i suspect theres more to it then just new hop and TB as ive got those in place at present.
      cheers

its been recommended that rather then get a new G36, i just complete the upgrades to my exsisting one. so far the only thing that i havent already replaced is the hop unit. it has been recommended i get a Pro Win hop unit, however i cant seem to find one anywhere, all i can find is links to forums, can anyone tell me a reliable and cost effective place to source one. failling that what is a good quality alternative?
        thanks
