Help with a custom build?
31 October, 2010, 13:41
So I'm looking to build a C7A2, which I hope to get looking like the one pictured -
Currently I've been asking sites that do custom work, including xxxxxxxx, who quoted £400, xxxxxx, who suggested getting a Spectre Modular aeg and just making it from the different parts of those which I could do but again seems expensive, asked xxxxxxx, still awaiting reply, if you can think of anyothers who do decent custom work please suggest(Although I am looking to maybe build it myself).
Bascially I need help with finding an M4 carbine that will take a M16A2 front end, and finding other parts, as I am still relatively new to airsoft and never done a custom job before I am struggling a bit on my own. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help with a custom build?
The only people that can be recommended to you under the forum rules are zero one, who do custom work.

Re: Help with a custom build?
Any M4 (Marui Compatible) will take an M16A2 front end. G&P make an A2/A3 front set, then you just need an M4A1 (Non LE) type stock with a butt pad, an RIS gas block, an ELKEN, some green spray paint and if you want, a C7/8 body.
Not too hard to do yourself really.
EDIT: Bloody picture ninja!

Re: Help with a custom build?
that green looks really bright in the first pic and too close to "two-tone" for my liking... i'd dull it down abit if you were thinking of doing it that bright....
Prepare for the worst, but expect the best.

Law Enforcement. The newer style 6 position stocks. Like below:
Wrong one (LE)......................The one you need (In black or OD)

Your 416 has an old style M4 stock? The one with the tick in above?
