how to dye assult vest

hi i have standard issue assult vest with all the pouches i need i wonderd is there any easy way to change it to black? playing alot of cqb now and the other lads all wear black sas style want to fit in without spending loads on another vest? cheers all !

you can dye it but it will have a wierd subdued camo effect
trading WE M16A1 for CYMA or RS SVD with PSOP

Cordura is really really hard to dye any colour as it is inpregnated with wax, the only thing that will dye will be all the webbing and mesh bits, you could then darken it to near black with black krylon but use light sprays as if too thick it'll crack and flake.

We used to dye our combats for certain theatres - doesn't really work though as the materials used are too "tough" if that makes sense and still used to be DPM although very much darker - either sell/swap it or Krylon.
