ics m4 upgrades to hop or skip
9 November, 2010, 08:16
Hi guys
i recently sold my loved ics m4 and bought another ics m4 but am pissed due to the difference between them.
as far as i am aware the only difference was a madbull tight bore.
but the range/ accuracy is massive ive chronod my new m4 and it was only kicking out 250 fps mmmmmm
ive now changed spring to a systema m100 and exspecting fps to go up
but my question to you lot is the hop.
should i replace the lot or just the hop and nub ?
was looking at the madbull 3 in 1 unit with a python barell ?
will this give me what i want ?
freinds say to use the element hop ?
any help on the perfect hop barell combo would be appreciated.
gav

Re: ics m4 upgrades to hop or skip
I dont rate the element hop at all...get the madbull hop unit, with either a promy or madbull tightbore.
The madbull hop unit (with the exception of the sopmod one) is the best hop unit I have used.

Leave the unit itself, its more hassle than its worth.
The rubber itself is the one downside to the ICS M4.
However just get a few views on what rubber to fit in it, i brought a v2 python madbull rubber and H nub for mine. However when i tried to fit the rubber it was stupidly tight to put back together so i cut a small ammount off and lubed the living daylights out of it, once it was all put back together and lube removed i might aswell have been firing from a m203 it was that inacurate.
Went back to my TM rubber tightbore and the H nub and it fires like a dream brilliant acuracy with .25s even at range.
