King arms ops model 3rd mbs silencer???

Hi,

I was looking for a silencer which attaches over the barrel of an m4/m16 like that of an sr-25 and came across this one - the king arms ops model 3rd mbs silencer.

Looking at the links below it appears to attach over the barrel using the ring supplied with the silencer but I'm unsure how?

If anyone could provide any information and also whether this silencer would attach over the barrel would be greatly appreciated.Thanks for any help in advance.

Your link looks to have gone but I guess you mean something like this ? :-



The ring is in two halves that you fit round the barrel right up at the bayonet lug of the foresight using the lug to prevent rotation and it holds together with two hex head bolts.
You take off your flash hider and put the main tube of the silencer over the barrel and screw it onto the thread. The back end of the silencer locates into the ring to prevent wobble.
