Re: short Thompson mid cap
There is a thread in a WW2 airsoft forum detailing how to cut down "30-round" size mids into "20-round" size mids if that helps.
Will the real-steel mags fit your gun? I have a real-steel 20-round mag that's very tight (too tight) on my Cyma gun.

Re: short Thompson mid cap
You do know that you can already get the 20rd midcaps except with a 190 rnd capacity?

Re: short Thompson mid cap
I assumed he meant a spring midcap, not a hicap mechanism in a short box

Re: short Thompson mid cap
yep want spring mid caps with that specific capacity. the gun needs a bit of sanding to fit the real steal.

Re: short Thompson mid cap
Maybe source some 95rd midcaps for other guns? As long as they have the spring, it should be somewhat universal... Or so you'd think :p

Re: short Thompson mid cap
would be cheaper to buy springs than hack up mid caps but may have to.

Re: short Thompson mid cap
Well I was thinking something like buy existing broken midcaps at a discount e.g. feed problems or broken casing. But you're probably right either way :p
