Re: Projects for 2011.
I really would love to build a Serbu super shorty:
Maybe base it on a Rem 870 and cut the barrel down and mod the pump grip with a vert version? Would look the mutts and be awesome for cqb or wood secondary :D

Finish the Lewis gun.
Build the K98 springer.
AK hop my MP40
Complete the Vickers Gun I started this year

Re: Projects for 2011.
Stubby M4 internal revision..... Fastest trigger response as possible but keeping the ROF as low as possible. Torque up everything?

I'm aiming to finish or rather make a start on my M4 project that i started nearly 2 years ago, I'm only lacking a front end, Stock, Trigger switch and a few other smaller parts, so hopefully will clear that up and get testing in the new year.
Heres how its stood since June 09

The SG552 will also be getting a slight internal revision, and a little slowing down
I might also consider some custom motor builds as i think I'm hitting the limitations with some of the existing ones. And without doubt I will have a focus for based projects/tests for 2011, as that seems to be an area that is shying away in recent times.
Would that be a ProWin gear box nesstled in there by any chance? Quite...No VERY hard to get hold of these days.

Indeed it is a Gen 1 Prowin :D
I thought it would be wise seeing as the setup will probably be eating Pistons for breakfast.
I'm ditching the stock for 6 position Magpul CTR, it was beginning to look too much like another stubby!

:O
You guys are putting little people like me to shame!
All I'm doing this year is finishing a L119 build, and rebuilding a few gearboxes... Well, that's all so far :p

Re: Projects for 2011.
I'm going to try and set to work on making an Zastava M76.
I want a DMR style weapon but I love the Eastern Bloc stuff so that's what I settled on.
Any advice would be appreciated. =]

"The holy grail of building your DMR AEG"
It's a different forum, so I don't think I'm allowed to link it.... It's a dedicated sniper one anyway, so look for vindicareassassin and you'll find it. Or google could be your friend?

Re: Projects for 2011.
I have had a couple of days to revise the planned rebuild of my SG552, Aside from a few minor changed to the internal setup something else has been eating away at my brain for the past couple of weeks.
Taken from my SG550,
The difficulty here is going to be successfully replicating/transferring this S-1-3-20 option over to the Hurricane Lower without chipping any of the paint, and before anyone says otherwise, I am set on having the extra number engraved, a sticker with a "3" just won't cut it for me when the other positions are engraved as well :D
Update for the M4 build: All the electrical parts except the battery are on order, still moving slowly though as have to get the damn £2K car insurance paid!!
