BFG time delay question
26 January, 2011, 17:20
Hi there.
Can anyone explain to me how the time delay fuse works on the Dynatec BFG or similar please?
I'm curious as to how the firing pin is delayed from striking instantly as the lever is released.
Thanks in advance, Jake.

Re: BFG time delay question
on the dynatec its the suction seal around the piston that slows it down, to a point where it can spring up

Re: BFG time delay question
Im surprised there isnt a mod for this using a fluid filled piston and the timing is adjusted by changing the diameter or amount of holes there are for the fluid to migrate (rebound damping on a shock absorber uses the same principle, speed it up or slow it down is a simple twist of a bolt).
section 24 of the 1968 Act
Supplying imitation firearms to minors
1)It is an offence for a person under the age of eighteen to purchase an imitation firearm
2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.
