Mc 51 to mp5

proberbly a silly one, but will a mc 51 lower body fit a mp5 upper?????

I'd have thought not, as the MC has the same reciever as the G3 series, which do not match with the Mp5 series. Correct me if i am wrong anyone.

The magazines on the MC51 are different for a start and as HunterAndy said the MC51 is based on the G3.

I've thought of adding a SD front end to my MC51 but would still like to keep the HK51 barrel I have on it but I wouldn't know where to start. Maybe running the longer HK51 outer barrel through the SD silencer?

Yep but the mag well is part of the upper receiver not the lower so it wouldnt effect the mag

The mc51 lower has the front body pin near the magwell so thats why it wouldnt fit.

The mc51 lower is very similar to the mp5 one anyways - why you want to change?

About a year ago there was someone who had modded exactly what you had said, so it can be done.
From what he said it was a bit of a labour of love though, you probably need quite a bit of time to make it.
