Barrel extension will NOT come off.
3 July, 2011, 13:13
Hey guys Ive just brought an AGM HK416.
Its got a barrel extesion on.
I can cont for the love of god get the barrel to unscrew.
Ive sprayed WD40 on there and used mole grips but I feel like if I put anymore pressure onto it Im gonna snap the thread or warp something.
The only thing I can think thats causing this is that guns been painted and its gunked up the threads.
Any clues on how I can safely remove this?

Re: Barrel extension will NOT come off.
It seems stuck no matter which way pressure is applied.
Im just gonna go for it and pop it in a vice and see what happens.

Re: Barrel extension will NOT come off.
heat it gently, i.e on top of a wood burner, and then twist.
