Magpul MOE Butt Stock Wont Fit

Hi i just got a magpul kit for my g&g m4 and i got the handguard on without a problem but the buttstock wont fit on i dont know what the problem is it just wont fit.

Please Help

I slide it on holding down the button and it stops along about a quarter of the way

Depends on the magpul stock but its the stopper catching, theres different ways of lifting in.

What stock is it?

Never owned one of those but there will be a catch on the stock

On standard stocks you have to lift the entire pin up. Take the stock off and look inside it as you move the adjuster. See how far up you can get it

You have to lift the pin up ALL the way, lever it with a screwdriver or something. If it worked the way you're trying to make it, then it would just slide off the bottom every time you adjusted it.

Push the lever, then get a screwdriver and lever the pin up all the way, then slide it on. then release.

EDIT. Thta's the same one I have. When you push the lever you can get a thin screwdriver into the pin and lever it up. There's a hole.

you need to pull the adjuster thing right down hard, and use two fingers either side of the bar type thing running through the adjuster, pull that right down very hard too, even hurts your fingers doing it, ive found em a real pain especially the ctr's

Yep as said above just push the pin down all the way and it'll slide right on. I have a G&G with this stock on it, I run a buffer tube Lipo so have to take the stock off to get the battery out. Surely you had to do something similar to get the G&G stock off? I had to when I changed the stock over.

Edit: On my CTR you deffinatly have to push the pin DOWN not up.
