Re: Custom Build mp5. Any tips?
Its not really cost effective in my opinnion, i had the same idea of custom building an
mp5 but after speaking to zeroone they quickly changed my mind. Its much cheaper to buy a descent mp5 then add whatever you want.
I'd get an ics mp5, then do whatever nesassery upgrades you want.

My hot tip. Stay away from ICS.
I'd voice my opinion in a stronger manner, but Z1 own this forum, and they love ICS...

If your going mad on the internals don't really matter what your base is. Cheapest metal case is going to be a Jing Gong. With TM hop up, and complete replacement of gearbox

Re: Custom Build mp5. Any tips?
You're looking for the Swordfish kit mate. Though I advise not to put it on an ICS gun as it doesnt fit too well, caused me problems. I would recommend buying a second hand TM MP5, if you're going to replace the internals it won't really matter what the condition is on the inside. As for the RIS, if you want one, the classic army one is cheap and does the job fine while looking very nice.

The Cyma RIS kit is £30. To be honest, it's metal, it does the job, it's half the price.
Looks just as good :D
