JG Dragunov, slight adjustment
6 February, 2009, 11:18
I have a JG SVD (dont really know if this is in the right section) and It has a wobbly (v. wobbly) stock as it is only held by 1 screw that goes up the base of the pistol grip, my question/query is: Does any one have any ideas as to how i could make the stock alot sturdier? or does anyone know if an AK 47 normal pistol grip fits on the JG SVD?
cheers, charlie

Re: JG Dragunov, slight adjustment
My mate had one of these and his had a wobbly stock too. The only way i could stop the stock moving was padding out the AK body with tape until the stock fitted tight against it and that was the cheapest, quickest way i could sort it.
Might be worth a try mate...

had already tried and was a failed attempt, but may try again if you said it improved its sturdiness. and yes the pistolgrip + stock are one piece.

I have put the JG SVD stock on my AK and its compatible. I think you should be able to stick a pistol grip on if it comes to that.
