Looking to build a stand alone 40mm launcher

Hey guys i fancy abit of an easy project.
Was thinking of building a stand alone 40mm launcher similar to this...

So far my shopping list consists of:
M203 launcher + 40mm grenade
M4 sliding stock + stock tube
M4 pistol grip
Holo sight

I plan on attatching all the parts to a home made metal chassis.

Any ideas or things you think i may be overlooking would be very helpful.

The M203 unit comes with a built in trigger.
The launcher isnt included in the picture,
this is a frame for it to attatch to instead of an M16/M4 for example.

Gaz, I have an xm203 short that I bought off Rampage for a project, my mates made the launcher from scratch now, so its going spare

You can get those high pressure 40mm grenades (ics i think) - would be worth it for stand alones

can take gases in excess of green - so red gas im guessing - give it a bit more power/range

Saw the entire unit for sale in the UK yesterday along with other variations, can I find the web site for you today, no! Was searching under Star M14 sopmod. Good look if you can find it.

Right guys pending the purchase of an XM203
I have 2 design concepts in mind, one originating from a broken G36 and one from a broken M4.


Both weapons would be constructed of around 80-90% metal and consist of a working trigger unit and a 20mm top rail running the length of the top of the stand alone launcher for the mounting of optics.
Obviously these are very rough concept drawings but im just wondering as to which design you guys would prefere to see on the skirmish field?
