  • Custom Airbreak how long?

Just making an Airbreak for my APS based CA M24. How long should I make it?

Depends what you're looking for. If the airbreak is shorter you will get an increase in fps, but the fps variation will be wider.

As above, it depends what you're looking to achieve.
A longer air brake will damp the impact more, but also remove a lot more of the air-flow and lose you muzzle velocity. A shorter air brake will keep you more of your muzzle velocity but reduce it's effect in slowing the piston.
There is no "right", just "right for you"

Well I was aiming at reducing sound, but don't want to lose performance too much or should I put a stronger spring in? Guns at 470 on 2s and everything is PDI
