you need pss96 springs, which are found in the aps-2 parts section on zeroone. Ive bought a lower power spring off there and works fine.

if you want laylax parts look at 'pss96' they are l96 specific, and i woudl say a new spring and maybe just a good working over to get good compression...get out the teflon tape

            Re: Need Help Upgrading L96

I do a lot of work on L96's and air seal is crucial. My best to date is 512fps from a rifle that started at 445. Like the man above said use Teflon tape on all threads and re grease the cylinder. Porting and polishing the cylinder head with a dremmel is also a good touch. Finally use silicone sealant on the hop rubber. While you may not get to the magic 500fps you'll notice a much better consistency from shot to shot, I've had one rifle that deviated by ~30fps between shots. This dropped to ~5fps after modding.

Give it a go, just remember that technique will yield better results than fps when it comes to sniping

            Thank
