l96 hop

where can i get the plastic hop bit for the l96 ??
or do I have to go the upgrade

nope you dont have to upgrade until your ready to upgrade the hopup unit
to answer the question about the bucking nub mate
it will sound dodgy to you , but use a piece of pen tube, like the byro tube
measure to fit in the gap and cut it a littl bit big so it a snug fit , then install ,
it will only be around 3mm long

what i need is the hop arm, if thats the right word, both of the ones with my l96 dont seem to have any prongs left, probally why I am getting the fps but not the distance
can anybody do a drawing for me of what the end of the hop arm should look like from new

You could try to add something on top of the hop nub, like another hop nub cut in half and put on top, as it;s a hollow round tube it should open and squeeze on to the whole one. Try it and if it doesn't work or works too well add or remove material.
It's a case of trial and error with this.
Another thing, check inside the hop up rubber itself - it's very soft and the nub inside may be shredded and gone - this happened to mine.
