EDgI sears
1 February, 2010, 16:17
Hey guys,
Right, I am coming to the point of sorting out my VSR (finally) I have what I am believed to be deepfire sears in them but it wont hold the PSS10 piston. I dont want to go swapping piston or my spring (130sp) yet, I have an M145 standing by ready to go in with the piston but every time I put the piston in I get a slam fire, sears are not worn at all nor is the piston, Anyone tested EDgI's sears with laylax parts?
Cheers for any help guys

Re: EDgI sears
A few years back, EdGI (himself) told me his parts are compatible with Laylax. So you should be fine as far as that goes. Unless he's changed his stuff, which I don't think he has...

Re: EDgI sears
They have been compatible as long as I can remember
Although you would get the best results with an EDGI piston and spring guide, compared to the Laylax ones. Also are you sure you're piston isn't for a zero trigger?

Re: EDgI sears
Nope its the red high pressure piston, avaliable widely, as its a 45 degree catch angle if I'm not mistaken not the 90 degree orange one that comes with the zero trigger.
