Upgrades to a Classic Army M24 SOCOM.
19 March, 2010, 09:59
Right guys, im looking at getting one of these bad boys, as i prefer the looks to the Marui VSR G-Spec.
Would the internal upgrades be the same as those for a VSR? Having never seen the inside of either gun, i havent a clue what would be compatible.
So if anyone could either cure my ignorance, or present me with a list of upgrades to get it to 500fps and firing as well as physically possible; id be very grateful.
Dont worry about budget, just which parts will make it the best gun it can be. Ill worry about how much it costs after. Haha.
Thanks in advance.

I was looking into them the other day!
Laylax and First Factory seem to make them, and I think they use APS2 components... They certainly don't use VSR parts, unfortunately.

Re: Upgrades to a Classic Army M24 SOCOM.
it is aps2 based not vsr based, these were common around the aps times, before the vsr.
being aps2 based isnt the best though, parts are getting harder and harder to find, never mind more expensive.
Due to the aps2 being discontinued, some l96 parts will fit though.
