  • Custom Barrel spacers

I've been thinking of ways to make custom barrel spacers, which are better than the crappy stock ones you get.

So far, from looking at the forum i've got a few cool ideas, including a broom handle with a hole drilld thrigh the middle.

Would silicone work? Make some moulds and pour silicone into them?

    Too rubbery perhaps?

    Share your ideas!

I've always found that simplicity is king.

Wrap electrical tape round it in a few places, it's impossible for it to be off-centre as the tape wraps evenly round for each turn.

i did that mod ( electrical tape )

in my first l96 , the inner diameter of the rifle's outer barrel is 22mm , so make the barrel spacers about 21.88mm check with a digital micrometer ,

or if you have a g-spec do the same for that size outer barrel inner diameter ,

also , if using the tape , make 4 or 5 evenly spread along the barrel to creat great stability ,

or if making one , create a 4 inch long one and use two if can fit it in , to have a sterdy shoot line
