bb jams in hop up (PDI hop)
18 May, 2010, 09:12
Hi All (Warrior L96 but only the stock is now original)
I'm not very familiar with the PDI hop but have I just 'over adjusted'?
I noticed that the bbs were flying crazily upwards and on inspection found the bucking shredded at the nose.
So any recommendations on hop rubbers would be grateful (systema barrell)
On the sticking point; I'd also be glad of any recommendations/advice. I'll continue adjusting to try and I've some hurricane and madbull rubbers to try
Thanks in advance

Re: bb jams in hop up (PDI hop)
the jammin is due to the fact that the side securin grub screws and hop up ones are done too tight . creatin too much back spin so they jam and sounds full when shot . . also remove the hop rubber and reinstall with a tiny bit or silicone lube on the outer skin . make sure the hop nub is in the gap properly .

Hi There
Thanks for the idea GS I'll try that now
I'll lefty-loosen the grub screws and I did grease the outer surface but I'll do it again
I'll keep you posted

Well as you look down into the bb chamber as the rifle is upside down . screw the adjustment screws down as will take the hop effect off . try that and check the hope rubber is seated correctly if you have to take the barrel apart .
