any recommendation for a good value tight bore barrel for this weapon, and what one in general size etc...

Whoa wait

Have you got the pdi unit installed

If so then don't go lower then a .04

If not then try and leave the barrel alone

And clean it install barrel spacers use the right ammo sort the air seals out on the piston and cylinder then on the hop rubber itself

Then will be fine

na it has a new hop rubber though :/ and 4 barrel spacers, it's about 470fps on 0.36's so there is room for the upgraded barrel and i'm just interested in what to get etc etc and if it's worth it?

You won't be able to fit a aeg barrel in the stock hop unit

The only tb you will get is fro edgi then you have to email him and import from the USA

and it alot I paid nearly 90 for the barrel and import costs

With the pdi you would only need a .04 with the fps it running at and the madbull red hop rubber

Install 2 more so 6 in total for the barrel spacers
maybe the laylax or element three stage piston with dampened cylinder head from laylax and will be sorted

Plus use .4s if it is over 460 mate will be near perfect

@ guard, why should you not go tighter than a 0.4 using a pdi hopup?

thought tighter hte barrel the better?

PDI hopup + barrel is in excess of £100 new after postage

Badas the pdi hop unit will increase the air pressure behind the bb
so if the hop unit is not perfectly adjusted the bbs will curve a over the place
so stick with a .04 or get the pdi .05 as they are very good
