vsr 10 outer barrell

went to remove the outer barrell so i could get acess to the innerr barrel and the hop unit today and as i start to unscrew is so tight i cant get a 3rd of the way off. using screwdrivers and alon wrenches for leverage??

any ideas?

no dont do that you will probably bugger the threads up and need a new outer barrel. Screw it back and try again if not take the end cap off by unscrewing it with the stopper supplied. Try checking if its just dirt. If you cant undo it let us know will think of other options.

i wd40'd it for ages, but the gun was bought second hand and the thread was ruined and forced back in. it's ok. but in the long run will need a new one, a good clean up means it sits back ok now. just need my upgrades now lol :-D

and you will need a new hop up rubber. WD-40 kills hop up rubbers, only use silicon based lubricants on airsoft guns.
