  • TM VSR - Laylax Zero Trigger, Spring Guide Stopper Problem

Hi guys, for some reason the spring guide stopper in my Laylax zero trigger unit is loose in that it does not "lock" into position, and falls out easily under gravity. Subsequently, the cylinder will not lock back when cycling the bolt.
I don't know what's causing the spring guide stopper to be so loose, my VSR was working fine this morning then suddenly stopped locking back. My relevant setup is currently:

    Stock cylinder / cylinder head
    Laylax Zero Trigger
    Laylax 150 Spring
    Laylax Orange Piston
    Laylax Spring Guide

I have read that securing the threads on the spring guide may fix this problem yet I cannot separate the components of the spring guide with a fair amount of force, so I don't think that this is what is causing the cylinder to not lock back.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Hi,
As long as the metal nub at the end of the spring guide is intact then it should lock into the `dimple` in the spring guide stopper. The only other thing I can think of is that your mainspring is broken, as it is the mainspring that exerts the force onto the mainspring guide.

    Hope this helps.
    pete.
