Re: Tightbore Barrel
Tightbores arent really gun specific. Just depends on the length of your barrel as to which one you get. The usual Madbull, Systema, Kings Arms are a choice of good tightbores.

Sniper tightbores are different to AEG tightbores and Well/Warrior L96s can be a right pain in the a%#e to source, i got rid of mine due to lack of available upgrades.
I think from memory PDI are good for the L96.

Re: Tightbore Barrel
I'm not entirely sure mate. What length is your inner barrel now? Some people just swap like for like but I know one or two who have upgraded to a longer barrell and used a silencer to compensate for the additional length.

Re: Tightbore Barrel
What are you planning? Tightbore and hop rubber is the usual 1st stepping stone. This helps range and accuracy. FPS goes up and down depending on the gun. People see mixed results.
My CA M4 has a Madbul Tightbore and TM hop rubber, the difference was noticable

Re: Tightbore Barrel
Was planning a tightbore and hop rubber, and take it from there. But i'm seeing some good snipers on the for sale section with full laylax upgrades from around £300

Re: Tightbore Barrel
See how it goes then. Not ever owning one I'm no guru on it lol. If you can get a pre made for the money then thats ideal. All thats left is to tweak to your taste

Re: Tightbore Barrel
Ok for a Well Warrior you need a maruzen tightbore APS96 (As far as i can remember of the top of my head, sold my 96 a while ago) They will come at exact length for the l96 so get it bought and get a PDI hop rubber. If you want total accuracy and have a few hours to sit playing with hop go for the PDI hop unit if not dont worry the stock one is just as good.
This Post may contain my opinions and if you disagree with them Tough S**T!
