VSR Quieting

Just how quiet can you make a TM VSR?
Silencer's work pretty well on them I hear?
Filling the stock..
Sorbo pads?
Anything else to quieten one?

cylinder head dampener pads..
Piston head sorbothane pad,
foam fill the stock
fill the outer barrel with spacers ( will silence more if fully filled )
piston with full airbrake on,
replace the foam rings in the silencer with cotton wool and will be deadly silent mate,

prices vary mate
different makes and that for internals ,
but the laylax dampener is the best
with pdi spacers,

another thing you can do is line the stock where the trigger assemble is with foam pads, worked quite well on mine!

Any large areas in the stock, fill them with something like expanding foam.
Just take a look for any spaces that sound can get out, if you're really anal about making it silent.
