L96 silencer
20 January, 2011, 16:36
Hi got a warrior L96 and wanting to put a silencer on it. I know nothing about silencing rifles, all i know is there is a adapter that i need that is available. How do i know what silencer will fit onto the adapter, or does someone out there have a silenced l96 who would like to share what adapter and silencer theyve got on it?
Regards

Re: L96 silencer
Buy a CW threaded silencer adaptor for L96.
Most silencers come with the option of CW or CCW thread so should fit the adaptor.

Re: L96 silencer
you may have to drill the end of the silencer where the BB comes out of so its a little bigger as if you don't the bb could be catching it and not your targets

Re: L96 silencer
Right okay thanks, is there any silencers you would recommend that wouldn't need drilling?

Re: L96 silencer
depends what your after mate,
there are plenty of wide open muzzle silencers available,
why not make one, many rilfe owners do ...
i custom mill them , and just muck about with cans etc at home,
but it all depends if you want a long rifle,
if not, its easy to silence the rifle itself so its hardly heard,
laylax damper cylinder head,
laylax or element 3 stage piston with sorbothane pads glued on ....
barrel spacers and a foam filled stock will dampen the thud quite alot
